School for Wise Children Trainee Director & Understudy 

Previous credits as director include: Waste Busters (Lyric Theatre Belfast); Ungentlemanly Combat (National Theatre Studio); Generation Zero (Theatre 503/Edinburgh Festival); Remote by Stef Smith and Ailie and the Alien (National Theatre); Who Gives A Toss? and The Pet Shop (Traverse Theatre, Edinburgh); There Be Giants (Eastern Angles); Treasure Island, Alice in Winterland, Robin Hood, Suitcase Shakespeare and Peter Pan (UK Tour, Lamphouse Theatre).

Assistant Directing includes: The Twelfth Player (Royal & Derngate) and Somewhere in England, River Lane & Dark Earth (Eastern Angles).

Tom is Artistic Director of Lamphouse Theatre and performs and teaches clowning. Most recently, he performed in War of the Worlds (On a Budget), which enjoyed a sell-out Edinburgh Fringe run and UK tour.

Wise Children first met Tom through The School for Wise Children when Tom applied for the Summer School. He was an absolute joy, and we knew he’d make a great addition to the Blue Beard creative team.
